The Vallée-du-Richelieu Nautical Station starts from the Chambly Canal, located on the western shore of the Bas Richelieu. From there, it follows the Richelieu River all the way to the village of Saint-Ours. Along the way, you can enjoy great views of the Saint-Hilaire mount and visit superb historical sites. The river, which lends itself to wakeboarding and wake surfinf, is also a very popular with boaters as it is a link, as in times past, between the St-Lawrence River and the Canadian-American border and Lake Champlain. Outdoors and waterborne activities abound, like canoe, kayak, pedal boat and stand-up paddle board outings on Chambly Basin. The kids will be delighted!
