Located just outside Montreal, the Lake of Deux-Montagnes Nautical Station is as enjoyable in the summer as it is in winter. This 150 km2 stretch of water welcomes everyone from windsurfers to kayakers to pleasure boaters as well as wakeboarders, wakesurfers and kitesurfers. The station is also a destination of choice for all levels of sail boaters, from exports looking to perfect their craft to beginners with a thirst for sailing. If you enjoy sunbathing, the Oka Beach is sure to please everyone from 1 to 99 years old! History buffs can discover the incredible Industrial-Era Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue canal, which has been the principal entrance to the Ottawa-bound Outaouais River since 1843. During the winter months the lake is transformed into a true paradise for ice fishers, ice kiters and fans of any number of other ice sports.
